We recommend you carry this into the field (especially if we can't convince you to leave the guide and home and carry a notebook and pencil into the field) and use Howell and Webb as your backup. Like the Peterson Mexican Birds, there are not a lot of the migratory birds seen in the U.S. featured in this guide.
