This is a great little guide to pack along for any type of nature outing. It has great line drawings of the animals, detailed drawings of fore and hind prints, stride patterns, notes on behavior, and a ruler (inches) on the cover. The introduction includes tips on tracking and definitions of tracking terms. Mammals, birds, reptiles are included. For the easily amused (like me, Sandy!) there is a little graphic of a rabbit on the bottom of right hand page. Watch a jackrabbit and a cottontail run, then play with the book.....
