Thanks to all of our friends, customers and supporters who have helped Randy and I keep Naturally Curious going since his July hospitalization! We hope you'll bear with us while we figure out why he has lost his vision, and if it is permanent or temporary. We have several new titles in stock that I haven't loaded into the store yet, so please email us with any requests! Thanks

Voices of Andean Birds, Vol 1, CD

Vol 1: Hill Forest of Southern Peru and Bolivia

Thomas S. Schulenberg, and Cornell Lab of Ornithology

. The lowermost slopes of the Andes mountains, where the Amazonian and Andean avifaunas overlap, are one of the richest spots locations for biodiversity in the world. Although birds are a conspicuous element in these forests, they are more easily heard here than seen. This audio guide resents the vocalizations of 99 bird species found in the geographic area from southern Peru south into northern Bolivia, including species such as Lanceolated Monklet, Bolivian Recurvebill, and Carmiol's Tanager. It will also prove useful in areas farther north, since the distributions of many of these species extends beyond this region. One of five in a series for this region (return to products, see Amazonian Birds vols. 1-2 and vol 2 of Andean birds).
