Mark Elbroch

Every so often, a truly knowledgable author comes along who can his knowledge or expertize down on paper to teach the rest of us. Roger Tory Peterson was one, Mark Elbroch is one of the newest we are aware of. Along with the Peterson Field Guide on Animal Tracks, Elbroch has authored three other books that are masterly. As a Texas resident who grew up in snow country, Elbrochs Mammal Tracks and Sign makes me homesick for those magical wintery days when the dawn brings fresh snow and new animal tracks!
