Kenn Kaufman
The danger of reading the books that we carry is getting so caught up in them time is spent reading, not 'working'. Such is the case with Kingbird Highway. It's hard to resist any well written 'coming of age story' or the best 'on the road' tales, when you toss in an unusual quest for bird knowledge in a young boy, hitchhiking and surviving on $1.00 a day in the 1970s, with birds and characters met along the way, you have a winner. The fact that Kenn is a true artist with the written word, makes this a truly enjoyable book to read.
