Randy had the great fortune to train with Mary Apelhoff a leader in the vermiculture (worm composting) field. He travelled the Dallas/Ft. Worth area demonstrating worm composting, so we've been 'worm-aware' for a long time. This book delves into the natural history, benefits and even the search to see if the Pacific Northwest has lost the white, two-foot worms that squirt a lily-scented liquid as a defense mechanism.
